Note when checking a new saddle for fit:
Just placing a brand new saddle on the horse’s back is not sufficient to judge whether it is a correct fit or not. If your saddle fitter does this then we suggest you find a more experienced saddle fitter!
Often the saddle will appear too narrow when new and especially if not properly girthed up. A new saddle needs to be properly girthed up to get any idea of true fit. Preferably it needs to be ridden on for 5 to 10 hours, depending on the type of saddle, the horse and rider.
If at this stage your Zaldi saddle needs to be a little wider or narrower then most models are adjustable and we offer this service free of charge to ensure you have the perfect fit.
Gauges are free of charge within the EU but we have to charge postage at cost.
For customers outside the EU we can include the gauge as part of an order for other items, otherwise please ask us for postal costs.
