Note that although the saddle can be ordered in any of the widths, we offer a 'made-to-measure' service for the width of this saddle and can alter the width to perfectly suit your horse (this is not a d.i.y. operation and alterations will require the saddle being returned to us - but it does mean your saddle remains width adaptable for life). The approximate length of the saddle on the horse's back is 52 cm. This Portuguese saddle has a generous contact area to spread the weight over the horse's back for maximum comfort and reduced stress for the horse.
