Budget priced Vaquera 'saddle drape', or manta estribera, made in a heavy striped cotton material and includes a pocket. Manta Estribera is translated as 'stirrup blanket' and is draped across the front of the Vaquero saddle, the silla vaquera of Spain. It is part of Spanish history and traddition and has a number of practical purposes; wrapped around the rider's shoulders for warmth, used as a ground blanket, used to kee the horse warm. This 'modern' version of the Manats Estribera has pockets to carry items rather than them being wrapped inside and held together with leather thongs or leather laces.
