Pillion pad - Grupera

 Saddle pad for pillion rider, or grupera, made from traditional heavy striped cotton. The grupera fits behind most Spanish saddles and is traditionally used for carrying a female passenger behind the rider who would be mounted on a Vaquera, Espanola, mixta or Alta Escuela saddle. It is fitted with straps to attach to the rear of the saddle. A standard crupper (not supplied) is used, passed through a panel in the pad, for extra security.
